Marble and leather hard cover w/out a dust jacket. There is some wear to the hardcover front, edges, and spine. Slight tear to leather on lower back leather corner (see image). Endpapers without any marks. E. McWhood, Binder label affixed in upper left corner of front endpaper. I’ve included an advertisement of this bookbinder from the American Antiquarian Society to show that this binder was established in 1845. Stamp of previous owner on flyleaf. Reverse side of that page has a large blemish, perhaps from a large sticker although unknown (see image). There is some foxing present in the work . The binding and pages are tight.
