Our Story

Veni Vidi Amavi Books is a small, virtual shop located in Pennsylvania, United States. The shop has been open since 2022 and has been an absolute delight to run and a great way to justify buying more books than one probably should!

Jessica Moore (that’s me!), proprietress and bookseller, has been an avid reader for many decades. I currently hold an M.A. in English and an M.A. in Public History with and emphasis on archival work. I have attended Rare Book School and I am a member of The Bibliographic Society of America and SHARP, (Society for the History of Authorship, Readership, and Publishing) and the Caxton Club. I thoroughly enjoy learning about rare and antique books — not just for what they are worth, but the actual book history.
